Forms Pelvic tilt



a hemihyperplasia patient demonstrating lateral pelvic tilt.



lateral pelvic tilt describes tilting toward either right or left , associated scoliosis or people have legs of different length. can happen when 1 leg bent while other remains straight, in case bent side s hip can follow femur knee lowers towards ground.




left pelvic tilt when right side of pelvis elevated higher left side.
right pelvic tilt when left side of pelvis elevated higher right side.



causes: 1) anterior pelvic tilt caused increased lumbar lordosis , thoracic kyphosis, stretched abdominal muscles, tightened hip flexors.


2) posterior pelvic tilt caused sway , thoracic kyphosis, stretched flexors , lower abdominal muscles , tightened hamstrings.
