norteño has many different regional styles. norteño in texas, example, influenced american music, while artists nuevo leon , tamaulipas may have influences caribbean. jalisco , sinaloa have produced norteña bands, though 2 states more closely associated musical styles of banda , duranguense. chihuahua , zacatecas norteño combines saxophone , accordion. each norteño band has own unique adorno, musical interlude between lyrics. example, adorno of los rieleros del norte typically descending scale.
