mystery weekend

mystery weekend yearly event occurring last weekend in february. fake newspaper story run in south whidbey record or fake newspaper can purchased visitor & information center, detailing persons involved. players instructed search every store box of cards, clue mystery printed on each card. various locals play parts of characters in story, , players invited question them information. players believe have solved game may submit solutions , enter drawing of prizes.


welcome whales festival

the welcome whales festival held @ beginning of april each year , culminate in inclusive parade on 8th of april 2017.


djangofest nw

the djangofest nw music festival held in september each year. five-day festival celebrates gypsy jazz style of django reinhardt, , features workshops, concerts, , impromptu jam sessions around town.


whidbey island area fair

the whidbey island area fair held in july @ island county fairgrounds in langley. original island county fair association formed in 1912, predating incorporation of langley itself.
