the north point shopping centre main shopping centre in bransholme area. still referred former name, bransholme centre , opened in 1970s. main supermarket gateway, later kwik save , freshxpress. has since closed (the unit poundstretcher), leaving iceland , heron foods food retailers in centre s main building. there netto adjacent shopping centre, closed in 2011 , became morrisons instead. closed down in 2015 , unit taken on home bargains. centre has small market hall. shops in centre aim @ budget end of market stores home bargains. there 2 opticians including rouse opticians, have stores elsewhere in hull. in outer face of centre there further shops, including post office. additional retail development built adjacent centre in mid-2000s, including netto, wilkinson , amusement arcade. on days, there mobile fish , chip wagon in eastern car park.


there health centre next site, original health centre dated 1960s/early 70s , of distinctive single-storey flat roofed design. new health centre constructed, opened in 2012, replaced dental services @ old health centre building.


they 2 banks in shopping centre but, yorkshire bank closed in september 2014, leaving halifax.
