aerial units

aerial units can move on land or on water limited in movements amount of fuel carry.

fighter

the fighter covers ground in single turn of units, making ideal exploration. s fighting capacity not particularly strong can destroy helicopters, transports, destroyers, , submarines. fighter not particularly effective against land-based units. fighters gets veteran status when have been in battle , increases strength 2.

helicopter

first added in version 4.0, helicopter attack aircraft (somewhat counter-intuitively) more damage fighter. effective against land-based units , can used effect against transporters , submarines. helicopters gets veteran status when have been in battle , increases strength 2.

bomber

the bomber game s equivalent of atomic bomb (minus radiation poisoning , nuclear winters) , each can used once, after destroyed. in sense, bomber represents bomb itself, rather aircraft.

any land-based units, sea-based units, , aerial units in city or on carrier in blast area destroyed. enemy cities in blast area become neutral, suffer no other damage whatsoever, , can used produce units next player capture them.

aerial units in air on blast area not affected. if bomber attacks aerial unit, attack rather use bomb. bomber not effective combatant outside of use of bomb , vulnerable being shot down.

a bomber cannot detonate @ will; must attack enemy city or enemy unit not aerial unit.

the blast area of bomber gradually increases throughout game. bomber starts out needing twenty-five days produce bomber blast radius of zero, i.e., 1 grid unit. number of days produce increases, blast radius can determined following formula:

blast radius = (days produce - 25) / 5

so if takes thirty days produce bomber, blast radius one, etc. blast radius gradually increases during course of game.
