the mayor administrates council meetings, helps set issues on council s meeting agendas, , serves city s visible spokesperson, while operational authority held city manager, operates city s day-to-day activities. city manager elected 7 members of council , not popular vote.


bellevue left-leaning city. in 2016 election, of 61,742 cast ballots president, 66.11% voted hillary clinton compare 24.58% donald trump.
