tucker jr. member of omega psi phi fraternity. while attending meharry medical college school of dentistry in nashville, tennessee, met martha hinton, student @ fisk university. married , had 4 children: keta, walter, kenneth , camille.


it noted tucker came family of educators. father principal of local high school in haskell, oklahoma. mother teacher there. out of 8 children, obtained college degrees. tucker , 2 of brothers doctors , 5 other siblings obtained master s degrees , became educators.


circa 1970 tucker bought land , built medical building brothers, booker t., oral surgeon, , s. edward, obgyn. @ time, in small group of african american doctors in los angeles owned own medical building. serving watts community many years, brothers sold building in 80 s , area redeveloped strip mall. in addition practicing dentistry , holding political office, tucker served associate pastor @ zion baptist church.
