hoping end four-game skid, vikings returned home week 12 fight against arizona cardinals. game notable return of head coach dennis green, formerly coached vikings , works cardinals. right out of gate, vikes trailed cardinals rb j.j. arrington returned opening kickoff 99 yards touchdown. vikings respond rb chester taylor getting 1-yard td run. in second quarter, cards kicker neil rackers helped increase arizona s lead 21-yard , 50-yard field goal. afterwards, minnesota struck qb brad johnson completing 17-yard td pass wr marcus robinson. in third quarter, vikings took lead johnson completing 9-yard td pass rookie wr billy mcmullen, while kicker ryan longwell nailed 40-yard field goal. in fourth quarter, vikes managed put icing on game johnson completing 3-yard td pass fb jeff dugan. cardinals tried fight back, strong safety adrian wilson returning fumble 99 yards touchdown (with failed two-point conversion) , qb matt leinart completing 9-yard td pass wr anquan boldin. minnesota held on snap four-game losing streak. win, vikings improved 5–6.
