the whaddon chase fox hunt has traditionally met in town square @ winslow every boxing day many years. occasion attended on thousand people visiting town on boxing day each year. silver band nearby village of great horwood playing christmas carols have been in attendance. other annual events in town include beer festival in march, , winslow show, gymkhana , agricultural show held every august on sheep street, across road winslow hall.


winslow hall opera, formerly known stowe opera reformed after gap of 6 years , since 2012 performed in grounds of winslow hall.


the lions club of winslow meets on second wednesday of every month in bell hotel in town , prides on helping community of winslow , surrounding areas.


in 2017, sir thomas fremantle s new school site bring needed expansion of sporting facilities town. these include 4 court sports hall, large dance studio, fitness suite , range of all-weather pitches.
