wrawby post mill stands on small hill , can seen on approach brigg a18. earliest record of mill in wrawby 1585; in 19th century there known have been two. remaining 1 restored working condition in 1960s. mill, high on lincolnshire wolds, last surviving post mill in lincolnshire, , indeed in north of england. built around 1760 on site of earlier mill, , part of elwes estate until 1910, when sold. continued in operation until 1940, when loss of sail brought standstill. 1961 mill ready collapse, saved locally formed preservation society. restored mill reopened in 1965, when ground first bag of corn in 25 years. mill has since been refurbished, first new sail being added on 1 june 2007 , second subsequently. there intention replace 4 sails.


former chapel

the former wrawby methodist chapel stands in chapel lane. served place of worship 1885 until 2005. private house offers holiday accommodation.
