staying @ home, vikings played fierce nfc north fight chicago bears. in first quarter, minnesota got on board first kicker ryan longwell completing 31-yard field goal. bears tie game, kicker robbie gould completed 41-yard field goal. in second quarter, longwell give vikings small lead, nailed 26-yard field goal score of period. in third quarter, minnesota began trail, gould kicked 24-yard , 31-yard field goal give chicago small lead. in fourth quarter, vikings retook lead cb antoine winfield returned interception 7 yards touchdown. gould give bears 49-yard field goal, longwell answered 41-yard field goal vikings. vikings fell doom, chester taylor fumbled , bears qb rex grossman completed 24-yard td pass wr rashied davis, give vikings first loss of year. of first 5 games played bears in 2006 season, closest game. others have been decided @ least 26 points.
