on 20 march 2014, blake joined newport county on non contract terms, having spent time training birmingham city. signing branded transfer coup county manager justin edinburgh , made debut newport in league 2 match against torquay united on 22 march. remained @ newport county until end of 2013-14 season. blake went on train plymouth argyle in july 2014, club loaned in 2009, left on 28 august 2014 after failing earn permanent deal.
